Supporting our current and future healthcare workforce

Employer and Education Grant Partners

The goal of this 4 year grant program (end date 2025) is to address healthcare workforce shortages by creating sustainable employment and training programs in healthcare occupations serving rural populations across the state of NH and connected VT region.

Three distinct goals of this grant are:

    Address critical workforce shortages by focusing on recruitment

    Leverage existing strong workforce development infrastructure across the state through co-enrollment for tangible and OJT supports, as well as the strong existing apprenticeship and training infrastructure in our region
  • 3
    Support the current healthcare workforce through growth opportunities and a focus on retention

About the Rural Health Careers Grant

The Rural Health Careers Program is 100% funded through a $2.5million grant from the US Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration.
