The program offers 6 weeks of paid training during which participants will develop the knowledge and skills they need to embark upon a career in phlebotomy. Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Phlebotomy Technician exam (PBT) and are hired into one of our many locations.

Our full-time training program includes online learning led by an instructor and on-the-job training with your future clinical team. Topics covered include Laboratory Operations, Patient Registration, Anatomy & Physiology of the Circulatory System, Specimen Collection, Specimen Preparation and Processing, Basic Testing Practices, and Laboratory Information Systems.

Phlebotomists draw blood in clinic and hospital settings, as well as collect a variety of other samples patients prepare at home. Phlebotomists are detail-oriented, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and provide compassionate patient care while collecting quality samples for analysis in the medical laboratory.
